Rethink Your Waste is here to help with anything related to garbage, recycling and Household Hazardous Waste in Niagara County, New York!
As a Division of the Niagara County Department of Public Works, this site is dedicated to bringing attention to the solid waste management issues and events in our community, and provides tools for residents to increase waste reduction, recycling, and composting at home, work and school. By strengthening the relationship between solid waste management and the environment, we are ultimately improving the quality of life in Niagara County.
There will be four Household Hazardous Waste drop-off events for residential customers in Niagara County in 2014. For your protection and ours, all HHW drop-offs are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. For more information, see our HHW Page.
You will be able to schedule appointments starting in late March 2014.
Non District members (residents of Niagara, Cambria, Wilson and Newfane) are welcome to participate, however please bring a check of $19, payable to the “Niagara County Refuse Disposal District.”
Keep an eye on the Household Hazardous Waste page for the announcement of our 2014 Collection days. This year we had 775 participants and collected over 84,000-lbs of materials!
